Casey Zerbe Brewster is devoted to cultivating psychological safety & empowerment for colleagues, partners & clients. As a trauma-informed community engagement specialist with two decades of experience in outreach, engagement & coaching, she’s worked in emergency shelters & affordable housing systems in Ohio, Washington & Oregon. Much of this work centered on understanding the impact of violence on the social determinants of health & designing sustainable solutions for individuals & organizations. Casey also specializes in team building, from improving cross-functional communication to designing uplifting & effective meetings.
Casey is a certified facilitator & practitioner of Gateless Writing, a methodology based in neuroscience designed to unlock creativity & joy. She believes shifts in language can catalyze shifts in culture, and she aims to use this power for good.
