Course Description

This course is designed for leaders who want to enhance their leadership skills with the tools and methods that helped Toyota to achieve world-renowned excellence.

In this course, attendees will learn:

  • The role of a lean leader: what do they do differently from traditional leaders?

  • How to create and use visual management systems

  • How to manage and lead change

  • Lean/A3 problem-solving

  • How to coach others

  • How to perform “catchball” to socialize information with the entire organization

  • How to create leaders standard work to support organizational change and to bring more stability and predictability to the leaders’ schedules

  • Develop individual commitment plans
