
Claudia (she/her/ella) is an equity and transformation advocate committed to advancing culturally responsive, linguistically accessible, and community-led practices. She brings deep expertise in communication and engagement with diverse, multigenerational careholders—prioritizing emotional safety, well-being, and inclusive participation. With a strong foundation in multilingual education, cross-cultural program design, and equity-centered facilitation, Claudia leads plain language and conceptual accessibility strategies that transform complex information into clear, actionable, and culturally grounded messaging rooted in community voice.
She centers language as a cultural asset and tool for equity, leading language justice initiatives across school districts, nonprofits, and state agencies. She has provided Spanish-English interpretation and translation services to expand access across systems and has designed impactful multigenerational and youth-centered programs serving BIPoC and immigrant/refugee communities. With strengths in facilitation, project management, and bilingual engagement, she builds strong relationships, bridges systems, and leads with cultural humility and care.
Claudia holds a Master’s in Education (M.Ed.) in ESL/ELL and a B.A. in Elementary Education, with K–8 teaching certification. She has overseen program design, implementation, data and information systems, and staff coaching—facilitating co-design processes with diverse communities. Her teaching and curriculum development experience spans preschool through high school, higher education (ESL), and international contexts (Vietnam).
In her consultancy work across King, Pierce, Thurston, and Mason counties, she has supported initiatives focused on racial equity, language justice, accessibility, and educational leadership. A U.S. Army Veteran with a background in logistics, Claudia continues to drive positive change and sustainable project development through both professional and volunteer roles.
